Arguably, one of the best things about living in the Hamptons is the ability to live a luxurious and healthy life—to experience the best and feel great doing so. To help with that, here is a quick guide to some of the healthiest dining experiences the Hamptons offer. Whether you are looking for the most succulent local oysters pulled from the shore just outside your restaurant or a quick snack or smoothie made from local berries, greens, and proteins, the following are ten places to check out.

Eating Well in Sag Harbor

In Sag Harbor, BuddhaBerry offers organic yogurt with over 100 superfood toppings, from raw cacao to chia seeds. The fro-yo shop also has nut-free, gluten-free, and vegan options. Visited famously by the Kardashians while filming Kourtney and Khloé Take the Hamptons, BuddhaBerry can be found at 125 Main Street, Sag Harbor, NY 11963.

A few steps to the north at 111 Main Street, The Golden Pear Cafe offers low-carb meals for those on a keto diet, accompanied by tropical iced tea, freshly baked pear muffins, and a house roast. They also provide catering.

Nearby at 7 Main Street, Provisions is an organic cafe and market where visitors can pick up a quick, organic snack like the Baby Buddha Wrap or supplies like coconut oil and kale chips for their pantry at home.

In Bridgehampton and Water Mill

Those who have heard about Gwyneth Paltrow’s organic meals for people on the go can find them at 3 Green Hearts, one of Tracy Anderson’s studios in the Hamptons. There is also another location in East Hampton. At 903 Montauk Highway, Water Mill, NY 11976, you can find kale ravioli, salsa with quinoa, popular fish tacos, and fresh, organic, cold-pressed juices to enjoy.

A block away at 1020 Montauk Highway, Calissa brings Mediterranean cuisine to Water Mill, with a Greek wine list and large plates designed for the table to share, including their signature lobster dish featuring fennel, Aleppo pepper, mint, and tomato, as well as their roasted eggplant.

At 1 Ocean Road, Bridgehampton, NY 11937, you can also find Almond, a branch of New York City’s famed farm-to-table seafood restaurant. Almond prides itself on its flounder, scallops, and raw bar. For vegans, they offer #MeatlessMondays.

In Southampton

To the south, in addition to another keto-friendly outpost of The Golden Pear Cafe at 99 Main Street, hungry diners can try Oreya for al fresco dining, right at the Capri Hotel (281 Country Rd. 39A, Southampton, NY 11968). Oreya specializes in luxury fresh food, such as octopus with strawberries.

Over at 210 Hampton Road, the Red Bar Brasserie offers a premier vegan dining experience under head chef Todd Jacobs. There is locally sourced seafood on the menu for carnivorous clientele, but Jacobs’ specialty is his grilled vegetable entrées.

In East Hampton

Looking east, other than another branch of 3 Green Hearts at 30 Park Place, the curious and hungry can find seafood and breathtaking sunset views at East Hampton Point (295 Three Mile Harbor Hog Creek Road, East Hampton, NY 11937), but a reservation is recommended, as East Hampton Point fills up fast.

For a quick breakfast or healthy lunch, Simply Sublime at 85 Springs Fireplace Road provides healthy, organic Greek bowls and Indian dishes featuring basmati rice.

In Montauk

Finally, in Montauk, Bluestone Lane brings Australian cuisine to New York, with the savory decadence of health-conscious delights such as coconut chia pudding and a golden milk latte. Bluestone Lane also offers a smoothie menu and gluten-free options. Visitors can find the cafe at 786 Main Street, Montauk, NY 11954.

These are only a few of the cafes and eateries the Hamptons have to offer, so there is also merit in just strolling down each main street and seeing what culinary surprises one can discover.
