Fans of Serving the Hamptons will be excited to learn that the long wait for season 2 is finally at an end. The six-episode series is now available to stream on Max.
Serving the Hamptons focuses on the staff of 75 Main, a Southhampton eatery popular among the area’s elite. It details the relationships between the staff and their dramatic dealings with demanding customers. The show’s description reads, “Know one of the best and most exclusive restaurants in the Hamptons, and how the staff works to keep customers coming back.”
Returning cast members include restaurant manager Victoria Hilton, hostesses Jilian Gough and Samantha Crichton, DJ Ethan Thompson, waiter Jack Tavcar, waitress Hailey Druek, bartenders Ryan Fitzpatrick and Jodie Bisasor, and chef and “Kitchen Witch” vlogger Brogan Wu. Two new cast members, bartender Shane Cunningham and chef Mike Catuosco, will add extra flavor to the second season.
Restaurant owner Zach Erdem is excited for viewers to sink their teeth into the new season. Serving the Hamptons’ first season was filmed during the COVID-19 pandemic in 2021, limiting what could be filmed and when. The second season, shot during the summer of 2022, was unrestricted and captured the exciting atmosphere at 75 Main. “The Hamptons came back to life in Season 2 and you can feel the energy of it,” said Erdem.
Executive producer Tessa Sorkin kept things interesting this season by incorporating celebrities and events from other fan-favorite reality shows. Real Housewives of New York and Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip star Jill Zarin’s annual Luxury Luncheon was thrown at 75 Main and is featured in Serving the Hamptons. Reality TV enthusiasts will recognize many of their favorite Housewives in the episode.
Publicity from the show has helped the restaurant immensely in the wake of the pandemic. Tourism is slowly returning to the Hamptons, and Erdem says 75 Main has become a hot spot for those hooked on the show. The eatery is known for being packed with A-listers and tourists hoping to eat alongside celebrities. Visitors frequently stop by to take pictures for their social media and selfies with the staff. Hopes are high for a third season, but no announcements have been made thus far.
Erdem is also involved in the management of Blu Mar, another upscale Hamptons restaurant. He has owned 75 Main since 2010, and award-winning chef Mark Militello put the restaurant on the map. Chef Militello is not featured in Serving the Hamptons, but his involvement with 75 Main is an integral part of the restaurant’s history.
Chef Militello is part of a group of chefs who revitalized South Florida’s culinary scene in the 1980s and served as Chief Consultant and Executive Chef for the 75 Main restaurant group. Aside from the Southampton branch, 75 Main has a second location in Delray Beach, Florida.
Those hoping to visit the restaurant – and maybe even be featured on the show – can book reservations for dinner or brunch through the 75 Main website. For lovers of all things Hamptons, Serving the Hamptons is available now to stream on Max.
