The Tom Brady-backed sports card and memorabilia company CardVault by Tom Brady is once again expanding. This time, the retailer is making its way to East Hampton, New York. The move marks the company’s focus on growing the brand on the East Coast, with the company’s new fifth store. CardVault’s East Hampton location opens its vault doors on Memorial Day weekend, and the grand opening kicks off on the evening of Thursday, May 22.

Tom Brady, the retired New England Patriots quarterback, will be on-site to celebrate CardVault’s fifth victory, which is only two less than Brady’s seven Super Bowl championships.

A Fun, Fan-Focused Event

So, what can fans expect to see at the event? CardVault’s East Hampton location will showcase a showroom with an expansive range of products, including individual cards, sealed boxes, and even authentic memorabilia. For fans who want to catch them all, some of the brands represented at the store include Topps, Panini, Upper Deck, Fanatics Authentic, and even some options for Pokémon enthusiasts.

CardVault gives fans the opportunity to utilize the signature vault door that includes signed jerseys and equipment, and exclusive Tom Brady CardVault merch. In addition, the event will host a unique Pokémon experience.

The CardVault Authentication Process

For anyone looking to authenticate their own cards, CardVault offers grading and authentication services in the store’s submission area. Of course, CardVault is an authorized dealer of Beckett, PSA, and SGC, so fans know they’re getting the real deal through the simple and affordable service.

A Successful Expansion

In April, CardVault expanded into the American Dream shopping and entertainment center located in East Rutherford, New Jersey. That’s right: The American dream of keeping malls in business is alive and well. The American Dream store was the fourth location, signaling a steady and quick growth for the Brady-backed company.

The chain often focuses on heavy sports areas, with three other locations in Boston’s TD Garden, Foxborough’s Gillette Stadium, and the Foxwoods Resort Casino. Brady’s involvement with the memorabilia brand began this February, when the former quarterback took up ownership stakes. From there, CardVault became CardVault by Tom Brady, offering some name recognition to the brand.

CardVault by Tom Brady co-founder Ed Kane praised the East Hampton expansion, saying, “Bringing CardVault to East Hampton, a community known for being on the cutting-edge of art, culture, and collecting, is an exciting step forward for our brand, collectors, and fans worldwide.”

He noted that after the success of the brand’s fourth New Jersey-based store, the East Hampton location “reflects our continued commitment to making the hobby accessible and engaging for collectors of all levels.”

Connecting With Sports Culture

Of course, a huge part of the brand is giving fans the opportunity to connect with the culture. Kane said, “We’re proud to offer a destination where people can connect with the culture of collecting in such a unique and vibrant setting.”

As far as the grand opening event goes, the opportunity to connect is one of the main perks of attending. Not only can fans connect with Brady himself, but the event is poised to be a fun and unique experience for all kinds of collectors, whether they want to purchase coveted memorabilia and cards, authenticate their own collection, or simply have a good time at the Pokémon experience.
