According to a recent announcement, J/PR has renewed its partnership with Gurney’s Resorts, which now represents Gurney’s Montauk Resort & Seawater Spa and Montauk and Sanctuary Camelback Mountain, a Gurney’s Resort & Spa, in Scottsdale, Arizona. J/PR is excited to be joining forces once again with Gurney’s Resorts after previously working with them from 2014 to 2019.
The renewed partnership makes exploring both venues—each rich with various amenities and highlights—a must.
Gurney’s Montauk Resort & Seawater Spa
This luxurious spa lies in the heart of the Hamptons, serving as a prominent beachfront oasis throughout the year. Along with suites and beachfront cottages, the resort boasts an incredible 158 rooms. Members who have access to the resort’s private Beach Club enjoy remarkable cabanas directly on the shoreline.
While a spectacular seawater-fed indoor pool—ideal for thalassotherapy and the hotel’s state-of-the-art fitness center—lends itself to the setting, your taste buds will not be left out of all the luxury. With options ranging from Scarpetta Beach, the nightly Italian hotspot, to Tillies, which offers American Cuisine made with local Montauk produce, your palette is going on a joyride.
Those at the Beach Club and The Firepit enjoy lounging and indulging in delicious foods on the beach, or if the mood strikes them for a craft cocktail, they can head to the Regent Cocktail Club and enjoy their newly renovated lounge.
Furthermore, the resort is ideal for booking events. Providing plenty of space with its 25,000 square feet of combined outdoor and indoor venue area, it is the perfect space for corporate meetings, retreats, and just about any private event. Of course, the Spa Deck venue is marvelous for soaking in the oceanic atmosphere while gathering with family, friends, and peers.
Exclusive memberships are available for those who desire amenities such as a year-round seawater spa and wellness, the Beach Club, and concierge services.
Sanctuary Camelback Mountain, a Gurney Resort & Spa
Situated in Scottsdale, Arizona, the historic property where the Sanctuary Camelback Mountain Gurneys Resort & Spa resides was founded in the 1950s. Among the most iconic names associated with the spa’s property include Jack Kemp, Johnny Carson, Art Buchwald, Stan Smith, Robert Loggia, Jimmy Connors, and many others.
In 2021, Gurneys acquired ownership of the property and successfully created the Sanctuary Spa as a full-service facility with 12 indoor and outdoor spa treatment rooms. To provide clients with optimal calm and wellness, the spa also features a Zen meditation garden, a co-ed quiet room, a soothing reflection pond, and an Asian-inspired approach to its extensive spa menu.
Among the amenities that come with the spa are 110 total casitas and suites as well as eight private mountain villas. The resort offers swimming pools, a fitness center, tennis courts, and pickleball courts. Still, additional renovations are in the works including property-wide refurbishments that will soon increase the comforts and pleasures of this breathtaking resort.
There are many seasonal menus on their luxurious dining menu using only fresh, local ingredients. Elements, the signature restaurant, offers authentic farm-fresh American cuisine highlighted by Asian accents. Additionally, there is a delectable jade bar with extraordinary mixology and the finest liquor selection.
Like its counterpart in the Hamptons, the Sanctuary Camelback Mountain Gurneys Resort & Spa also offers several customizable venues, perfect for personalized events. These spaces include a 3,024 square-foot Views Ballroom with an indoor fireplace, a private foyer, and outdoor bars. Furthermore, guests are highly encouraged to enjoy the resort’s two-level Paradise Views Patio and lower lawn, as well as the Scenic Views Terrace, which is capable of accommodating up to 150 guests, providing the ideal spot for all of your event needs.
