You typically won’t find kids munching on tacos, adults sipping craft beer, and couples toasting to their diamond anniversaries under one roof—unless you’re at The Whale’s Tale.

The Northport favorite has officially dropped anchor in the Hamptons, poised to make waves as the area’s next culinary hotspot.

“The Whale’s Tale has always been about joy and embracing life’s simpler, slower moments. Enjoy the sunset” says founder and restaurateur Sosh Andriano. “Now, we’re bringing that same spirit to one of the most iconic summer destinations in the country.”

Nestled beside the marina and just steps from the beach, The Whale’s Tale features a chic 106-seat indoor dining room, a spacious outdoor deck seating 60, and a grab-and-go beach shack offering craft brews and artisan ice cream for the complete summer experience.

Helmed by restaurateur Sosh Andriano and Bachelorette fan favorite Brian Autz, this venture marks Andriano’s seventh restaurant, building on more than two decades of experience. Renowned for his exceptional flavor profiles and contributions to some of New York’s most talked-about restaurants, Andriano also played a pivotal role in launching outdoor dining protocols during the pandemic, among many other milestones in his storied hospitality career.

Ready to serve guests throughout the high season, The Whale’s Tale is set to become the backdrop for countless memories, featuring a menu that blends Andriano’s Hawaiian roots for a tropical flair with East Coast seafood classics.

Guests can enjoy acai bowls, lobster rolls, fish tacos, and a raw bar brimming with oysters and shrimp. Of course, all the fan-favorites that made the original location a staple are here, including Taco Tuesdays.

Beyond the food, firepits, cornhole, coastal tunes, and barefoot bliss set the perfect ambiance. It’s the kind of place where you come for lunch and end up staying until sunset. No surprise, then, that Andriano’s restaurants are often found steps from the shoreline, where great food meets good vibes.

“It’s a place where people feel they can stay awhile,” Andriano says.

Whether it’s a sun-drenched brunch or cocktails by the firepit, sweeping ocean views set the stage for a quintessential Hamptons experience. With guests ranging from the Summer House cast to familiar faces in the culinary and media scenes, The Whale’s Tale Hamptons is poised to become a fixture in the East End social circuit.

“It’s a place to enjoy the simple pleasures—great food, great company, and a great atmosphere,” Andriano adds.
