For those seeking the best beaches to visit in New York, the Hamptons offers the perfect quiet beach trip and a host of luxury accommodations. Andy Cohen, who hosts Bravo’s Watch What Happens Live, intimately understands all the hidden gems that the Hamptons has to offer. When he is not hosting, he heads to the popular destination with his two young kids.

As summer advances, the reality TV producer and radio show host opts to split his time between his homes in Manhattan and the Hamptons. Cohen recently shared his favorite kid-friendly spots to visit when in the Hamptons, and the journey to the popular seaside destination is just as fun for Cohen and his young kids as their time there.

Cohen and the kids travel to the beat of the Queen of Pop. “We put on Madonna and have a dance party. They are really into it!” Cohen recently told Travel + Leisure how his kids, Ben, 5, and Lucy, 2, handle the trip.

The fun just begins on the car ride to the Hamptons, but once they arrive, Cohen and the kids set a to-do list with kid-friendly activities that Cohen is happy to recommend to other parents in the area, stating, “You know, I think part of the thing about raising kids is a lot of it is just killing time and keeping them engaged and entertained.”

Andy Cohen’s Favorite Kid-Friendly Spots in the Hamptons

A go-to spot for the family is The Children’s Museum East End (CMEE), founded by a group of mothers who were inspired by the excitement they and their children experienced at new children’s museums that were opening around the country. Opening its current home in Bridgehampton in October 2005, with over 7,000 square feet of exhibition and program space, the CMEE has become one of the most visited museums in Eastern Long Island.

Cohen expressed that “The Children’s Museum in Bridgehampton is unbelievable. It’s so great,” also mentioning, “And also all of the local libraries. For anyone who has kids six and under, the Montauk Public Library, [and the public libraries in] Amagansett [and] Bridgehampton. They’re so great,” he said.

To help keep kids fueled for the day’s adventures, the Hamptons has a host of food options for children, with Cohen mentioning Sam’s Restaurant for pizza. The TV host stated, “It’s a real low-key, divey kind of place, but it has great pizza [and] John’s Drive-In in Montauk is so fun for ice cream.”

Yet, Cohen also mentions adult-only fun activities, like The Crows Nest, which Cohen referred to as “a scene in the best possible way.”

Adult-Only Fun and Fresca Mixed Cocktails

But the Bravo guru opts for cocktails mixed with Fresca (his go-to mixer for years) when he chooses to stay at home. Cohen helped Fresca launch their ready-to-drink, vodka-based, canned cocktail, Fresca Mixed, which comes in Watermelon, Black Cherry, Orange, and Peach Citrus flavors, offering a tasty selection of beverages for a relaxing night in.

“As the no. 1 Fresca Mixed fan, I’ve been the unofficial founding member of the Fresca Mixed Club for years now, and I can’t wait to let other fans in on the best-kept secret in the cocktail game,” Cohen said in the partnership’s announcement. “I hope fans are ready to join me in enjoying these exciting new flavors, as well as experiencing the fun events and perks when they join the club.”
